Growing in Grace Capital Campaign DESIGNATED FUNDS-CHAPEL The Church received a gift of $20,000 from the estate of a former member. The Committee recommends that improvements be made in the Chapel. Specifically, place chair rail and sheet rock on the walls, place an arch similar to the one in the Sanctuary around the cross, update the sound system, place 4 chandeliers from the ceiling, and generally give the Chapel a face lift to create more than a school house look. Preliminary estimate is that less than one half of the available funds would be used. Formal proposals and evaluation of what church members could do has not been completed.Summary: Utilize existing funds to modernize and dress up the Chapel area. |
