Women's Missionary Union (WMU) WMU is a missions organization in Southern Baptist Churches that seeks to involve individuals, women, girls and preschoolers in missions. Missions is what local churches do to carry out the Great Commission, as wells as what they do in cooperation with other churches to spread the gospel throughout the world. Missions is ministering, witnessing, caring, praying, giving, growing, teaching, and sharing so all the world will know the hope of Jesus Christ. Missions involves all Christians, including the work of career missionaries.

Mission Friends Mission Friends is for children ages 3 - 5. It is the first step in missions education. Preschoolers become aware of how they can be helpers as they learn about God's helpers - missionaries. They learn that even though people are alike in some wyas and different in others, Jesus loves us all. Girls in Action (GA's) GA's is for girls in grades 1-6. The members are actively involved in learning about missions, praying for, and giving to mission, and doing missions themselves. Best of all, they have a lot of fun. Acteens Girls in grades 7 - 12 are involved in Acteens. These girls are also learning about missions, praying for and giving to missions, and are involved in mission action projects too! They work together to plan and carry out ministry projects in their community.
